Health Insurance
Farm Bureau shares in the cost of health care coverage for employees and their dependents.
Several options are available to choose from.
Your dependents may be covered through age 25 whether or not the dependent is a student.
Life Insurance
Farm Bureau pays the cost of life insurance equal
to two times your current annual salary.
Disability Pay Continuance
Short-term:
Income protection of 50-70% of your base pay for a maximum of six months should
you become disabled due to accident or illness.
Long-term:
Income protection of 60% of your monthly earnings after 180 days of being disabled.
Available after one year of employment and attainment of at least age 25.
Retirement
The retirement plan paid by Farm Bureau is based
on your pay and length of service. Generally, you become vested in the plan with
five years of employment.
401(k)
The 401(k) savings plan is available to you if
you are 21 years of age and have completed one year of employment. The plan includes
a company match of 50% of the money you contribute up to 5% of your pay. Generally,
you become vested in the company match with three years of employment.
Annual Incentive Bonus
When the company meets its goals, you benefit.
It is possible to earn an additional 5% of your salary as an annual bonus.
Paid Time Off
Twenty-two and one-half days per year (based
on 40 hr. work week) paid time off. Amount earned increases with length of service.
Paid Holidays
Ten and one-half paid holidays per year.
Sick Leave Bank
A program that allows "banking" of paid
leave for a serious health condition.
Educational Assistance
Farm Bureau pays 100% of tuition fees and 50% of
textbook costs for approved courses that relate directly to your position at Farm
Bureau. Farm Bureau pays 50% of tuition fees and 50% of textbook costs for other
approved courses that are part of a degree program relating to any position at
Farm Bureau.
"Cafeteria Plan"
Pretax reimbursement accounts for eligible dependent
care and health care expenses.
Flexible Work Hours
Work starting and ending times may be arranged
to suit both your and Farm Bureau's needs.
Casual Business Dress
There is no stuffy work atmosphere at Farm Bureau - you will enjoy wearing casual business clothing to work.

periods and are not available or are different for our multi-line insurance agents.
In addition to their employee benefits, Multi-line insurance agents are also eligible
